October in Beavers Bend State Park
Beavers Bend State Park is beautiful every season of the year, but Fall is especially beautiful. A favorite time for many guests that visit the area, because of the cooler temperatures.

The activities are endless, and some highlights for the month of Otober are:
"TRAINS OF TERROR" Train ride at Beavers Bend Depot. Terror Rides are Saturday October the 18th, Saturday October the 25th and Halloween Night the 31st. Trains begin departure at dark and run until about 10:30. Free Candy for the kids (while supplies last).
Beavers Bend Depot also has horseback riding available.
Cedar Creek Golf Course is a beautiful course with a view of Broken Bow Lake. An 18 hole, Par 72 course with 6,582 total yards, bent grass greens, putting green, driving range, Pro Shop, golf carts, and pull carts. A walk through history, spectacular exhibit of 14 murals by renowned Smokey Bear illustrator Harry Rossell
Beavers Bend Folk Festival and Craft Show is hosted here. Experience one of the most unique festivals in the region, held annually the second weekend of November.
Tree Identification Trail, over fifity different species of trees are nestled along this one-mile scenic trail.
Wood Art Gallery - The Forest Heritage Center Museum showcases outstanding professional wood artists from throughout America.
People of the Forest Exhibit - This award winning photographic exhibit depicts early day logging. Dierks Lumber & Coal Co. and the traveling timber towns of Clebit and Alikchi, as well as the contributions of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
Horse Back Riding is the perfect way to see the upcoming beautiful foliage. Take a guided horseback ride through the forest, across the creek, or under the stars.
